> Pick one of nine ready-made projects, with tasks, due dates, checklists and milestones already written, and change anything you like afterwards.

A template turns **New project** into a working plan. It needs no account, no connection and no AI: the same template always creates the same project, with every date counted from today.

1. Open **Projects** and press **New project**.
2. Press **Start from a template**.
3. Pick a tile. The preview shows what you will get: the type, a summary, the number of tasks and days, the milestones with their dates, and the first tasks with their priority, checklist and due day.
4. Change the name if you like. With a template, the name is optional: the template's own name is used when you leave it empty. Choose an **Area** if you want one.
5. Press **Create project**.

The project opens as soon as it is created. On an empty Projects page, the same templates appear as cards: press one to create it in one click.

## The templates

| Software sprint | Agile · Scrum | 8 | 14 days | Sprint release |
| Exam study plan | Standard | 9 | 28 days | None |
| Event planning | Standard | 9 | 45 days | None |
| Moving house | Standard | 10 | 30 days | None |
| Content calendar | Agile · Kanban | 8 | 30 days | None |

| Hiring | Standard | 9 | 45 days | None |

> [!pro] Software sprint needs Pro
> Scrum is part of Pro, so **Software sprint** is not offered on a Free plan. It creates a 14-day **Sprint 1** that holds seven of its eight tasks, all sized with story points. The other eight templates are free.

## What a template creates

- A project with an icon, a description, a start date (today) and a target date.
- Tasks with a title, a priority, a due date counted in days from the start, and often a description or a checklist. The words are in your interface language.
- On Agile templates, milestones, with the tasks that belong to each. Standard templates have none, because Standard projects do not show milestones.
- Personal goal (OKR) adds a check-in that repeats every week.

Everything a template creates is ordinary data. Rename, re-date or delete any of it, exactly as for a project you built yourself.
