Use Prior from your AI assistant

Connect Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or another assistant to your account, then ask it to plan your day, run your projects and write your notes.

Prior speaks the Model Context Protocol (MCP), the standard way for an AI assistant to work with another app. Once connected, your assistant can read and change your tasks, projects, notes, habits, flashcards and budgets. What it does appears in your apps at once. It works on every plan.

#Add it in one click

The first time, your browser opens Prior so you can sign in and allow the connection. You see which app is asking and what it will be able to do.

Steps for each app are in Connect Claude, Connect ChatGPT, Connect Cursor and VS Code, Connect Claude Code and Connect other apps. Settings → Integrations has the same buttons.

#What you can ask

Talk to it the way you would talk to a colleague who can see your Prior:

• "What is on my plate today?"
• "Plan my week around my meetings and tell me what will not fit."
• "Create a project for the website launch, with milestones, and split the work into tasks."
• "Go through my inbox and ask me about what is unclear."
• "Write the meeting notes in the project's shared note and assign the follow-ups."
• "Turn this course into flashcards, one deck per chapter."
• "Add this quote to the project budget."

#What it can do

It reaches what you can do in the app, with the same rules. It can only see your own data and the projects shared with you, and your role in a project still applies: a viewer cannot edit through an assistant either. When a feature needs Pro, the assistant is told so and can tell you.

Some things stay out of reach on purpose: your password, sessions and access keys, changing your subscription, your payment details, and deleting your account. It can read which plan you are on, so it knows what is available.

#Good to know

• It acts on your real data. Most assistants ask before each change: keep that on for anything that deletes or reaches other people. See how it stays safe.
• XP counts. A task completed through an assistant earns XP like any other, and Game mode shows it when you come back.
• You can disconnect at any time. Settings → Integrations lists each connected app with a Revoke button.
